Operation Renewed Hope
India Clinic Updates
Thursday - December 3, 2009

Well, God’s first blessing for us today was a late morning…6AM instead of the usual 5:30AM. Woo-Hoo! So with a well-rested crew of servants, we headed to our second clinic location of the trip, which happens to be only about 100 yards from where we are staying. The clinic building is very large, well-lite, and complete with fans to keep the flies at bay, which is a blessing.

Hours before we even headed over to set up clinic, locals were lined up in seats under a tent in our outdoor staging area. The people continued to arrive all morning, and kept us busy for the entire day. Since the remainder of our luggage had arrived yesterday, the dental team was able to set up a portable dental unit which enabled some restorative work to be done in addition to the many extractions routinely done.

The total number of patients we were able to see today was nearly 300, which brings our total to roughly 1,100, not including the 150+ Wellness Packages that were handed out to those who could not be seen. God has clearly been doing wonders here in India. There was even a Muslim woman today who stood to accept Christ in front of her peers. Pray for her as that decision could be costing her dearly even now. Please pray for the service tonight, and for our final clinic day tomorrow. Approximately 40%-50% of our patients have made professions of faith in Christ following the preaching. That is almost 500 people so far!!! Praise God!!! Also, remember to pray for Dr. Chatla over the coming weeks and months as he will need God’s wisdom, direction, and resources for following up with each of those making professions.
